Ulster BOCES SLS members on the move

April 4, 2019

The School Library Systems Association of New York State http://slsa-nys.org/ would like to welcome our newest director, Maura Albertson, who started at the Ulster BOCES SLS on April 1st. She started her school librarian career in 2008 in George Washington School in the Kingston School District, before moving to Highland Elementary School within the Highland Central School District in 2009. While providing library services the 800 students and faculty members at Highland, she is looking forward the administrative nature of her new positon in providing services to the nine districts and 23,000 students.

The School Library Systems Association of New York State http://slsa-nys.org/ would like to congratulate our colleague, Danielle Yeomans whom we have known for over sixteen years, as she leaves the School Library System and takes on the new position of Educational Technology Supervisor at Ulster BOCES. She will provide leadership in the administration and delivery of educational technology services that promote the effective use of technology to support and improve teaching and learning in our Ulster County Schools. We wish her the best of luck.
